Bill Murray is a comedy genius, we all know that. So, when he was told to improvise a monologue in the party scene of Tootsie, nobody knew what to expect.
Nobody on the set, cast or crew, had any idea what Murray (who played the playwright and Dustin Hoffman’s roommate, Jeff, in the movie) was going to come out with. Luckily, he created an absolutely incredible scene that truly pulled the film together.
