As The Supremes once sung, you need to ‘Sotp in the name of love’…or in the name of construction. At first glance, this piece of road lettering looked completely innocent and perfectly formed, and we were ready to put our foot on the brakes and stop at the junction.
Because that’s what you do at a STOP sign, right? However, on closer inspection, we don’t know what the heck we’re supposed to do. Do we stop? Do we go? Are we expected to perform an interpretive dance? Come on, man. You had one job.
