When the Stooges signed their first film contract, they were thrilled to learn they would earn $1000 per week. The thrills soon turned to misery as they realized the deal mandated that was the pay for all three of them, and that they’d have to split it. Eventually, the Stooges were signed to a seven-year contract that guaranteed them a $60,000 annual pay off.They later earned $7500 a week after their Oscar nomination, but still had to split the money between them.
