Xuewei was crushed by the news that her beloved grandfather had fallen ill while she was abroad. Of course there was the risk that comes with his old age but she was devastated nonetheless. She put her career opportunities on hold to take care of him. She visited him in the hospital everyday, fed him, and made sure he was comfortable. She was scared but put on a brave face for him. He did so much for her during her parents painful separation and she wanted to do for him what she could in return.
