Cheryl Ladd’s career as a Charlie’s Angel was both unexpected and unintended.
She originally came to Hollywood with the intent of pursuing a singing career and was first cast as a voiceover actress for Josie and the Pussycats. When she replaced Farrah Fawcett on Charlie’s Angels. She became a pin-up sensation and a 1970s sex symbol.

Throughout the 70s and 80s, Cheryl ended up releasing 4 studio albums of her own. She eventually remarried after her divorce from David Ladd in 1980, with whom she had 1 child.
Today, she is married to music producer Brian Russell. She still occasionally acts.
