At a rather young age, Barbi posed for Playboy magazine several times, making her instantly known to American men everywhere.
She was on American Bandstand as herself, as well as on Fantasy Island, and The Love Boat, which got her 15 minutes of Playboy fame to last much, much longer.

These days, Barbi is well remembered for her time as Hugh Hefner’s girlfriend. Her appearance on his reality show, The Girls Next Door, was her way to also be seen again.
During her career Barbi amassed quite a real estate list, some of which was featured on Million Dollar Rooms in 2012. Barbi has two children with her husband of over 30 years, George Gradow.
