Dr. Helen D. Gayle is one impressive woman. She got her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in medicine and her masters degree in public health from the prestigious Johns Hopkins University. She spent time in Africa as a medial epidemiologist, as well as an AIDS coordinator and WHO and UN consultant. At this point she devoted her life to HIV/AIDS research and became the director of the Center for Disease Control for all matters of TB, STD and HIV prevention.
