Awkwafina, who in real life is also a rapper and television personality, did such an amazing job in the role of Peik Lin – not that anyone is surprised because she’s hilarious and insanely talented. Her comedic chops really shone through in this film and we were very glad to be introduced to her! After filming, she did say that she wanted to steal the wig she wore in the film to complete her character. We wonder if she actually took it in the end or not.
