[post_page_title]The Ring 2 – Doe, a deer, a female deer[/post_page_title]
While not nearly as good as the original, The Ring 2 still offers up some quality scares. The Ring, an American adaptation of a Japanese horror movie, was very good. It was effective because it relied mostly on atmosphere and sheer creepiness for its scares.

The Ring 2 – Doe, a deer, a female deer

The sequel went a different way, and suffered for it. Nowhere is that more obvious than in the scene where Naomi Watts’ character and her son are driving along and get attacked by deer. They didn’t look bad then – they still don’t, in fact. They’re just fake enough to be distracting.
