Way, way back in the prehistoric days of… 2002? That can’t be right. Okay, we double-checked and it is. The first Ice Age movie (of about 45) came out in 2002, and it was Blue Sky Studios’ first feature film.
The movie, about a saber-toothed tiger, giant ground sloth, and woolly mammoth trying to return a lost human infant to its tribe, looked alright for the time period. It definitely showed that this was the studio’s first project, put it like that. Today? Today it looks like some shady Russian Flash game.
