Yup, Dina Byrnes from Meet the Parents, is played by actress Blythe Danner, who is non other than Gwyneth Paltrow’s mother. Danner was married to Gwyneth’s father, Bruce Paltrow, from 1969 until 2002 when he sadly died.
It’s not hard to see why Gwyneth went on to pursue a career in acting, after all she is the daughter of a film producer and director and a talented actress. Just a little refreshment, Danner also starred on the sitcom Will & Grace as Will’s mother.
