When you see a trailer come up on your screen, it’s normally easy to tell whether the movie will be a complete flop, or whether it has potential. Sadly, Pixels was one arcade game-based fantasy film that stood proudly in the former category.
Featuring all-too-colorful graphics, painful gags, and a struggling storyline, Pixels was created to make money on relevant topics and trends rather than entertain viewers. Ironically, the studio of this box-office flop never actually made any money from this project and walked away with a $75 million debt. Ouch.
