Due to the massive near overnight success of the show, Reed Robertson, who is Jase’s son, actually considered putting an end to his own life. In an interview to a website called Iamsecond.com, he said that the superstar fame he and his family found themselves in caused him to lose contact with his friends and gave him an overwhelming sense of loneliness. However, he has since turned to God during his time of trouble, and is now doing much better.
