The ’90s brought us some pretty incredible sitcoms – but one of the most iconic has got to be Seinfeld. One of the biggest stars of the series is Michael Richards – who played Jerry Seinfeld’s wacky neighbor, Kramer. Richards’ hilarious one-liners and brilliant physical comedy made him one of the most popular comedy actors around.
Unfortunately, after the show came to an end in 1998 after nine seasons – Richards had difficulty landing another strong role. After his own series The Michael Richards Show flopped in 2000, and after an inappropriate rant during a stand-up routine in 2006 – Richards started to fade away completely from our screens. His last TV appearance was in the unsuccessful 2014 comedy starring Kristie Alley – Kristie.
