So many rock star daughters choose to follow in their dads’ musical footsteps and Lara Johnston is no exception. Lara is the daughter of Tom Johnston, the founder and lead singer of The Doobie Brothers.
In 2011, the young Johnston tried her luck with the singing reality show, American Idol, and although she was eliminated quite early on, that didn’t stop her from continuing to pursue a singing and songwriting career.
