Learning the ABC’s as a kid always seemed like an easy task, you just need to remember the rhythm and the order of the letters and that’s it. However, to some it’s not just about learning a simple song in order to learn a language, and they need to really feel with their own hands the letter blocks in order to remember them better. In 1882, an author named Adeline Whitney invented the alphabet blocks and till this very day young children use them to learn the ABC.
