When Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split in 2016, rumors were circling that their separation had something to do with Brad allegedly having an affair with his Allied co-star, Marion Cotillard.
But considering Angie’s opinions on monogamy, we’re not sure that was the case. “I doubt that fidelity is absolutely essential for a relationship,” Angelina said in an interview. The two weren’t married at the time, but they were sharing a home. Jolie said living together didn’t mean they were chained together, adding, “We make sure that we never restrict each other.”
