These days, most children get a cell phone at a very young age, but in the Duggar family things work a little bit differently. The Duggar children are not allowed to get their first cell phone until they get their driver’s license.
And even then, they’re only allowed to use the device if they install a Christian app that limits their cell phone use to appropriate functions, to make sure that they’re not doing anything they shouldn’t be doing when they are away from their parents’ protective gaze.
