Another Scandinavian nation on the list. Norway holds the western section of the Scandinavian Peninsula in addition to other islands around the area. The country has laid claim to parts of Antarctica, and until 1814, Norway’s reach had gone as far as including Greenland, Iceland, and Isle of Man.
