Michael French played the fictional character of David Wicks from December 1993 to November 1996. He made one comeback in 2012 and another one in 2013. His character was incorporated in different storylines, where one of the more prominent one involved having a troubled and dysfunctional relationship with his children, Bianca Jackson and Joe Wicks. He also had an affair with Cindy Beale who was his half-sister-in-law Cindy Beale. He left the show for good on May 17, 2014. It’s safe to say that he was the British equivalent to George Clooney due to his good looks and age.
