Star Trek will forever be one of the most iconic sci-fi franchises in the world, but that doesn’t mean that everyone has fallen in love with the characters. In 1986, the world was graced with the “Plato’s Stepchildren” episode, and it’s safe to say that this didn’t go down well with fans at home.

While many praised the show for showcasing one of the first biracial kisses on television, there were others who were not a fan on this new take on the world. The BBC actually refused to show the episode until 1994.
