There really ‘Aint no Mountain High Enough’ for the singer, actress and performer, as she did not only have one of the most successful singing careers, she was also a respected actress, where the highlight of her acting career was marked when she earned an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress in 1973 for her role in ‘Lady Sings the Blues.’ The film was based on the biography of Billie Holiday and despite the praises Ross had won, the film received some mixed reviews.
