If you like the band My Chemical Romance, then perhaps you’ll be interested to learn that the lead singer, Gerard Way, has inspired a new Netflix series based on some comics and graphic novels he created. The Umbrella Academy is about seven very special children who were born seemingly out of nowhere because their mothers weren’t pregnant the day before their births.
Then, an industrialist, who happens to be a billionaire, adopts them and trains them to save the world. After one of their siblings leaves the group, they disband and go their separate ways until they are reunited upon the passing of their father. The show was released February 15, 2019 and is creating quite the buzz.
