In 2015, the niece of the Anglin brothers stated that the pair are alive and in their 80s, living in Rio De Janeiro in Brazil. The belief came from this photo which was confirmed to be taken in 1975 and brought to the family by an old friend, Fred Brizzi. Brizzi was a pilot who was arrested for smuggling drugs from Latin America to Florida. The family maintains that at Christmas 1962, the Anglin’s mother received a parcel from John Anglin. Morris’s family also say they’ve kept in touch. His cousin’s daughter says she met ‘dad’s friend Frank.’
