A few weeks before Meghan’s wedding, Thomas Markle was spotted near to his home in Rosario, Mexico. He was photographed by the paparazzi in a suit shop, where it looked as though he was getting measured up for his wedding suit. Although this sent the media into a frenzy and seemed to confirm that he would be attending the wedding, the situation eventually became messy when it was revealed that the photos were staged and that Thomas was paid for them. He has since been paid for numerous interviews involving his daughter.
