We like to think of Cher as the first fashionista of her time. Her outfits for award shows and red carpets would go from artistic to completely outrageous, depending on the event.
The press would talk about her outfit for days, achieving what we are sure was Cher’s plan all along. It was this black headpiece that she wore to the 1986 Academy Awards that got her a lot of press, not to mention her bare midriff.
