Before David Duchovny made it big on the X-Files, he was considering a career in academics with an IQ of 147. After he graduated high school, he attended Princeton University and graduated with a BA in English literature, then received his Master’s Degree from Yale in 1987. To obtain his PhD, he began to work on a thesis entitled “Magic and Technology in Contemporary Poetry and Prose” but he never completed the short publication. It looks like he swapped his chance at being a doctor for becoming an outstanding extra-terrestrial Special Agent.
