She opens her own detective agency and primarily provides services to victims or perps with superhuman abilities. Jessica Jones is based on a graphic novel, which is most certainly not suited for children. Consequently, the tv show has a dark undertone and is recommended for adults only. It’s action packed and focuses on Jessica’s personal struggle with PTSD. Watch it for yourself and decide if she’s an altruist or if she’s really just all about herself.
