Finding pure olive oil is a lot harder than you might think. Usually, this stuff isn’t sold in grocery stores, instead only being found in the regions where it’s produced. The products that you buy when you go shopping are normally just standard oil with some of the good stuff thrown in on top.
That’s because regulations don’t specify how much of the real deal a bottle of “extra virgin olive oil” should contain. Usually, if you check out the small print, you’ll quickly uncover the truth.
