It’s like a twist in some TV drama, but it’s true. Harry and Meghan are technically related, although only very distantly. Their connection goes all the way back to an ancestor from the 15th Century, a man by the name of Ralph Bowes. He’s their great – times 14 – grandfather, making the husband and wife cousins.
That might seem disturbing, but it is a very distant connection we’re talking about here. When you think about it, we’re probably all related in some way, so there’s no reason to be weirded out.
