Uram’s father decided that he couldn’t care for his son, so he decided to send him to live with his grandparents instead. Uram now looks to them as his parents. In fact, he was 15 or 16 years old when he met his father for the first time.

Sadly, Uram was disappointed by the way his father behaved and has now vowed to always be there for his children – no matter what it takes. He never wants to give up and told ABC that he doesn’t want to “make the same mistake.”
