Instead of looking to the past of the formerly “most hated woman in Britain,” let’s look to her future. When Charles eventually becomes king, British law says that Camilla will become Queen Consort. However, since she’s a divorcée, and Charles’ second wife after Diana, there’s been speculation she might go by Princess Consort instead. If so, it will be the first time that title has ever been used.
