Since it hit the small screen in 1989, the lives of this middle-class family, consisting of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and baby Maggie, living in Springfield, has been the show to watch for generations. The yellow toned town has deep satirical roots, keeping up to date on current events and later shifting them into funnier than needed (but still somehow appropriate) sketches.
