Zac Brown is the lead vocalist, front man and founder of the country/ rock band: The Zac Brown Band. Brown first picked up the guitar at age 8, and spent his teens being trained by a vocal coach from his church.
In 2002, he formed the Zac Brown Band, which initially consisted of Brown, along with bass guitarist Jacob Lawson and drummer Marcus Petruska. The band has received over 55 award nominations, including from the Grammys, ACM, AMA, CMA and Country Music Television. Brown has 5 children with his ex-wife, Shelly.
