One of the best qualities of duct tape is the fact that it’s waterproof. Here, you can see a manky old pair of worn-out boots, but do they let the water sink in through the toes? Of course not, now that there’s duct tape stuck on!
You could sink your feet a meter underwater and not one drop of liquid would be able to seep its way through the tape. It’s basically indestructible. They may not be the most fashionable pair of boots, but they serve a purpose well, that’s for sure.
