With films like The Karate Kid, Back to the Future and Cocktail, where she starred alongside Tom Cruise, there’s no doubt the the 80’s would not be the same without Elisabeth Shue.
The actress won Hollywood over with her sweet personality and her ‘girl next door’ look, however she has decided to step away from the spotlights to focus on her family. Elisabeth is due to act in a couple of films this year, so she didn’t really disappear, however at one point she did choose family over her career.
