Reality television stars have become a dime dozen. They can be easy to forget, even though they’ve given us some of the most emotional and irrational responses from our living couches. Snooki sells us slippers, fake millionaires still can’t find love, and Survivor contestants have reinvented their image entirely. Do you remember these lost reality tv stars and are you surprised to see where they are now?

Kate Gosselin: John & Kate Plus 8

Jon and Kate split in 2009, leaving the divorced mother to star in the reality show without her children’s father. The estranged couple are still arguing over the welfare of their kids, although, two of the sextuplets have decided to refrain from seeing their father. Kate has appeared on season 10 of Dancing with the Stars and an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap, where she switched places with Kendra Wilkinson. The newly single mother and her 8 children also returned to TLC this past year with a new series premiere, Kate Plus 8. What Jon’s up to is a bit more shocking…


Elizabeth Hasselbeck: Survivor (The Australian Outback)

Elizabeth Hasselbeck was a reality tv star before she ruled The View as a television personality. Liz came in fourth place on Survivor: The Australian Outback, turning her 15 minutes of fame into a long lasting career. She sits on The View panel with Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, and Sara Haines. The conservative Christian holds staunch right-wing beliefs and is often seen arguing liberal view points on the show’s entertaining episodes.


Puck: The Real World (San Fransisco)

Some things never change. Isn’t that right, Puck? Puck was notorious on 1993’s Real World: San Fransisco for his outlandish behavior and poor bedside manners. He wasn’t the house favorite but viewers couldn’t get enough of him. In the early 2000’s, Puck was arrested for driving under the influence and domestic assault. Today, Puck lives with his wife and family on a farm in California. He is finally off of probation for his 2012 arrest – he was convicted with stalking an unidentified woman.


Snooki: Jersey Shore

Even we’ll admit, it’s hard to forget a reality tv star like the Jersey Shore’s Snooki. After the guidette and her castmates finished filming the last season, Snooki ventured the talk show circuit. She made appearances on The View, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and Jimmy Kimmel. Snooki also launched an impressive business empire; underneath her brand name she sells lines of slippers, lip gloss, sunglasses, tanning lotions, and a jewelry collection. Her estimated net worth is currently $4 million. Snooki has two children with her husband, Gionni LaValle.


Mama June: Here Comes Honey Boo Boo

Mama June and her tot, Honey Boo Boo, tap danced their way into our hearts on their reality tv show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. The show was cancelled after the fourth season after Mama June was discovered to be dating a registered child offender, and episodes from the fifth season still remain unaired. Now, Mama June has lost 150 pounds and recently appeared on Botched to discuss having her extra skin removed with the show’s doctors. She is now down to a size 16.


William Hung: American Idol

William Hung was a novelty contestant on American Idol that received a real music career after his audition aired… at least temporarily. The Youtube video of his rendition of Ricky Martin’s ‘She Bang’ got a startling 2 million views. He released an album called ‘Inspiration’ in 2004, but that was final note we’d hear Hung sing. In 2011, he retired from the music industry and now works as a technical crime analyst.


Bethenny Frankel: Real Housewives Of New York

If there ever was a reality tv housewife truly loved, it would be Bethenny Frankel. Bethany originally started out on The Apprentice: Martha Stewart before being cast as Real Houewife of New York, then recieved her own tv show entitled Bethenny Ever After. The reality star is a talented chef and entreprenuer, and has written a collection of self- help books for her followers. She also founded Skinny-Girl cocktails and hosted her own talk show, Bethenny.


Bill Rancic: The Apprentice

If the name Rancic name sounds familiar to you, here’s the reason why – Bill Rancic is the husband of E! news channel host, Guliana Rancic. Bill was winner of first season of The Apprentice and went into the hosting game after his triumph. He and Gulianna have their own reality show, Guliana & Bill, but he also Casino Kitchen and works as an occassional motivational speaker.


Speidi: The Hills

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag became the newest supervillian couple since The Joker and Harley Quinn. Speidi created havoc on The Hills between their group of friends, mostly at the hands of Spencer. Heidi underwent a frightening series of plastic surgeries and Spencer tried to jumpstart her singing career after The Hills ended. To our shock and dismay, the couple are still married today and from what we hear – they’re quite happy. Well, except for that stint We TV’s Marriage Boot Camp. But, that was probably just for publicity.


Eva Marcille: America’s Next Top Model

Eva Marcille was the cycle 3 winner of America’s Next Top Model. At 5’6, she was the shortest contestant to compete but made up for her height with a whole lot of attitude. Eva came out on top, as most of the audience expected and landed the Covergirl contract the ladies were vying for. After the cameras stopped rolling, she did model for a time, eventually crossing over into the world of acting. She now has recurring role on The Young & The Restless.


Stephen Colletti: Laguna Beach

Everyone who was anyone either wanted to date Stephen Colletti or dreamed of him choosing LC over Kristin Cavallari. When Laguna Beach ended, Stephen tried his hand at acting and had a recurring character arch as Chase Adams on One Tree Hill. He even dated Hayden Panettiere for a while. Now, Stephen isn’t doing too much except attending Laguna Beach reunions. Oh, yeah. There was that Taylor Swift video he starred in – White Horse.


Carly Rose Sonenclar: The X-Factor

Carly Rose wowed the X-Factor judges on season 2 of reality talent competition. She was named runner-up, but that didn’t stop FoxWeekly from naming her on of X-Factor’s most influential contestants of all time. Since her singing debut, Carly has made many tv appearances and had a small role in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: Part 2. At the moment, Carly Rose is working on original music and is set to release a new single in the near future.


Clay Aiken: American Idol

Clay Aiken came in second place to Rubben Studdard on American Idol, but that didn’t stop him from becoming a successful recording artist. He has released 6 studio albums since his American Idol days and made his broadway debut in Spamalot. In 2014, he ran for governer of North Carolina and while he did lose, he remains a dedicated political activist in the LGBT community and for anti-bullying campaigns. He has one son that he co-parents with a close, female friend.


Tila Tequila: A Shot At Love

Tila Tequila was a Myspace star before she was given her own reality love competition; A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila. The show ran for two seasons and then Tila returned to her modeling and singing career. She appeared on Celebrity: Big Brother in 2015, only to kicked off the show for making pro-Hitler remarks. Today, Tila is an alt-right advocate. Her Twitter and Facebook accounts were temporarily suspended for anti-semetic remarks and racial prejudice against minorities.


Evan Marriott: Joe Millionaire

Evan Marriott has come a long way since his Joe Millionaire days. He made America swoon, even though he was lying through his teeth while he did it, by courting 20 women in a mission to find the love of his life. Evan chose Zora during the show’s finale, but after they split the million dollar prize they also split up soon after. Evan is back to being an average Joe with limited financial means. He’s currently single and works in construction contracting.


New York: Flavor Of Love & I Love New York

If you’ve forgetten about New York… wait. That’s probably impossible. Tiffany Pollard got her start on the reality tv circuit as one of the most popular (and psychotic) contestants on Flavor of Love, season 1. After she was denied by Flav (not once, but two times), she was given her own Vh1 reality tv show – I Love New York. These days, New York is still working it on Famously Single. She’s also appeared on The Next: 15 and brought her mother to see Dr. Jenn on Family Therapy. Lord knows they need that show the most.


Justin Guarini: American Idol

If you were Team Justin during the first season of American Idol, then this one’s for you! Justin lost the orginal idol, Kelly Clarkson, much to the dismay of Paula Abdul but made a successful living in musical theatre. He performed in the broadway version of Wicked, American Idiot, Rent, and Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. He is also married with two children… and they probably have really cute, curly hair.


Chloe Lukasiak: Dance Moms

Chloe Lukasiak was one of the mini stars on controversial tv show, Dance Moms. After leaving the series, Chloe continued to dance professionally and starred in a Jess Godwin music video – Fool Me Once. Her Youtube channel now has over 1 million subscribers and she won Choice Dancer at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards. She’s currently working as an actress and model on the side.


Reichen Lehmkul: The Amazing Race

Reichen Lemkul and his boyfriend, Chip, were the publicized gay couple on reality tv. The good-looking pair won the fourth season of Amazing Race, but unfortunately, broke up shortly after they claimed their prize. Reichen was a cast member on Logo’s reality series The A List: New York and starred in an off-broadway production of My Big Gay Italian Wedding. From 2006 – 2007, he dated Lance Bass. Currently, he’s single and living the life.


Jonny Fairplay: Survivor (Pearl Islands)

Jonny Fairplay was undeniably the most cruel, ruthless, yet seemingly brilliant contestant on Survivor: Pearl Islands. In case you can’t remember, Jonny was the contestant who lied to his cast membes about his grandmother dying… just to win an immunity challenge. After the show, Jonny made appearances on the Newlywed Game and Celebrity Fear Factor. In 2006, he entered the world of pro-wrestling and ended up having a baby with cycle 4 America’s Next Top Model competitor, Michelle Deighton. The couple are now separated.


Audrina Patridge: The Hills

When we first met Audrina Patridge she was an aspiring actress on The Hills who befriended the show’s star, Lauren Conrad. After The Hills ended, and exposed themselves for what they really were (fake), Audrina took over as host on NBC’s 1st Look. She also competed on season 11 of Dancing with the Stars and has been in an on-again, off-again relationship with BMX biker, Corey Bohan.


Flavor Flav: Every Vh1 Reality Show… Ever

Flavor Flav was the greatest “hype-man in the business!” You may remember his string of reality tv shows on Vh1 – The Surreal Life, Strange Love with Brigitte Nielsen, and three action-packed seasons of Flavor of Love. After the final season his love competition, he opened a fried chicken restaurant and got engaged to the mother of his children, Liz. We wonder if he’s still wearing the crazy clocks?


Holly Madison: The Girls Next Door

Holly Madison was one of Hugh Hefner’s Playboy Bunnies on E!’s reality sitcom, The Girls Next Door. In fact, Holly was *the Bunny. She was Hef’s #1 girl and for a short time, she wanted to marry him and have his babies. She left the show in 2009 after she split with Hugh and felt that her presence was awkward at Playboy studios. Since leaving the series, Holly starred in a burlesque show and had her own reality hit, Holly’s World. In 2015, she released a memoir entitled “Down the Rabbit Hole.” and revealed her dirtiest secrets and inside scoop from the mansion’s activities. Holly just welcomed her second child with husband, Pasquale Rotella.


The Situation: Jersey Shore

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino was a cast member of The Jersey Shore for all 6 seasons of the series. He created the famous “G-T-L” slogan for all Italian tri-state guidos, which meant gym, tan, and laundry. When Jersey Shore finally came to a close, Mike worked as a spokesperson and profited off of various endorsement deals. In 2010, he appeared with Bristol Palin in a public service announcement to prevent teen pregnancy. Today, The Situation has finally decided to settle down and is engaged to his former college sweetheart, Lauren Pesce.


Jamie Chung: The Real World (San Diego)

Jamie Chung was the quiet, reserved cast member of the Real World house in San Diego. She barely hooked up on the show, didn’t throw empty bottles at her roommates, and never got arrested for public indecency. While she wasn’t the most entertaining reality tv star, having a sterling reputation paid off when she pursued her dreams to become an actress. Since filming wrapped in San Diego, Jamie has starred in movies like Sorority Row, Quentin Tarantino’s Man with the Iron Fist, The Hangover ll, and plays Mulan on ABC’s Once Upon A Time. Not too shabby, Chung.


Keven Federline: Celebrity Fit Club

Keven Federline is known as the former Mr. Britney Spears. When Britney divorced K-Fed in 2007, he went off the radar for a bit and gained a whole mess of weight. He then appeared on Celebrity Fit Club with ex-girlfriend and mother to his children, Shar Jackson. The season resulted in Kevin’s sincere apology Shar, addressing his abrupt departure from her and their kids to marry the pop star instead. After the show ended, Kevin continued to get in shape and married former tennis player, Victoria Prince. He now has two children with Shar Jackson, two with Britney Spears and two with current wife, Victoria.


Carmen Electra: Till Death Do Us Part

Carmen Electra didn’t start out as a reality star, but she certainly became one after the debut of ‘Till Death Do Us Part: Carmen and Dave. The show followed one of MTV’s favorite couples around as they prepared for the impending nuptials, but they filed for divorce in 2006. After her divorce from the rock guitarist, she was engaged to another musician, Rob Patterson. She split from Rob in 2012 and shocked everyone by dating American Idol creator Simon Cowell for the next year. Currently, Carmen is focusing on her charity work with Elevate Hope and the HollyRod Foundation.


Brooke Hogan: Hogan Knows Best

Brooke Hogan was the up and coming starlet on her family’s reality tv show, Hogan Knows Best. After the series ended, and her parents filed for a nasty divorce, she released to pop albums before transitioning into the genre of country music. Brooke was previously engaged to Dallas Cowboys NFL star, Phil Costa, but the pair called it quits in 2013. In 2015, Brooke’s father lost his contract with the WWE after a recorded audio was released of him making lewd comments about his daughter. He stated that he [Hulk] was Brooke’s idea of the perfect husband and that he would bring “Hulkamania” to the man she chose to marry.


Santino Rice: Project Runway

Santino Rice was a top contender on Project Runway season 2, even with his aggressive attitude and personal impressions of judge and mentor, Tim Gunn. After he finished in third place on the reality competition, he designed and launched his own clothing brand, dresses a handful of elite, private clients, and became a judge on Ru Paul’s Drag Race. Santino also starred in his own reality show with fellow Project Runway alum, Austin Scarlett, in On The Road With Austin and Santino. The show followed the designers through the country’s smallest towns as they designed custom dresses for woman with special events to prepare for.


Ryan: True Life (I Have OCD)

Ryan appeared on True Life: I Have OCD and proved to be one of the more difficult subjects on the show. During his episode, we witnessed him struggle with interpersonal relationships and refuse to participate in therapy. He did, however, cut down on the use of his obsessive compulsive rituals for the time being. In 2009, he appeared on Obsessed, where he seemed to gave reverted back to his OCD struggles from 2007.


Zulema Griffin: Project Runway

Zulema Griffin was a contestant on season 2 of Project Runway. She was depicted as the no-nonsense, tell it how it is girl but in reality, she says that’s far from the truth; “I personally believe they wanted me to be an Omarosa, but they didn’t have enough material,” she said. “So instead of just showing me quietly working, they decided to eliminate me altogether and bring me back in when I had something snappy to say.” As of 2014, Zulema has gone on to design and launch several of her own fashion collections and designed the wardrobe costumes for the movie, Our Sins.


Aubrey O’Day: Making The Band

Aubrey O’Day was one of the few female breakout stars from MTV’s Making the Band. She was chosen to join P. Diddy’s (then still Puff Daddy’s) girl band and they named themselves Danity Kane. The ladies were slightly successful, with two #1 hits on the Billboard 100, but decided to break up in 2014 after struggling to work as a trio instead of the original quintet. Since Making the Band, Aubry has competed on The Apprentice, Famously Single, and Celebrity Big Brother: 18. She’s also stripped down for Playboy and modeled for Bender.


Juan Pablo Galavis: The Bachelor

Juan Pablo Galavis was the first latino star of The Bachelor. He retired from professional soccer in 2008 after playing for Miami FC as a midfielder and forward. Juan Pablo was one of the least liked Bachelors in the show’s long-running history. He made homophobic remarks towards the LGBT community and stated that he would not support an openly gay Bachelor contestant. He later apologized for his comments and the network grew announced that they do not agree with his point of view. Towards the end of his season. he picked Nikki Ferrel as his lady love but the two broke up in 2014. He is currently single.


Adrianne Curry: America’s Next Top Model

Adrianne Curry was the cycle 1 winner of America’s Next Top Model. She may have claimed her Covergirl contract, but decided to make a name for herself in the world of reality television instead. She appeared on The Surreal Life and met future husband, Christopher Knight, and the two became engaged on their own reality show, My Fair Brady. They were married in 2006, only to divorce six years later after trying to save their marriage on the Dr. Phil show. In 2014, Curry was named one of the top 10 most popular cosplayers of the year and works with Marvel creator Stan Lee on his Youtube channel, “Stan Lee’s World of Heroes.”


Harold Dieterle: Top Chef

Harold Dieterle was the first winner of Top Chef. In other words, he’s the Kelly Clarkson version of the cooking competition. After winning the show, he opened a chain of New York restaurants that are still up and running today, and quite successfully we might add. He’s called the most “original and talented winner” in Top Chef history. In 2010, he married Meredith Davies – a woman he had met the summer after he won the reality competition.


Fiona Horne: Mad, Mad House

Fiona Horne is an Australian singer and frontwoman of Def Fx, but also hosted the reality tv show Mad, Mad House on the Sci Fi Channel. She claims a Dark Goddess visited her on several occassions is apparently a shapeshifter. Her signature catchphrase on the show was “It’s more than just a game.” Since the show ended in 2004, she competed on Survivor: All Star Australia and went back to touring with her band, who is now #1 on the electro-pop charts. She also published quite a few books on witchcraft, and is a practicing Wiccan herself.


Jack Osbourne: The Osbournes

Jack Osbourne and his sister, Kelly, caused mayham and mischief for their parents on MTV’s The Osbournes. The heavy metal family didn’t really shock viewers with their behavior (they’re rockers, what else did we expect?), but they did surprise us with how semi-normal and relatable their problems could be. After the show ended, Jack dropped a ton of weight. He began fitness career and works as a travel reporter. Following the news of Sharon and Ozzy’s split, it was announced that Jack and his dad will debut their own reality show – Jack and Ozzy’s World Detour.


Alyssa: True Life (I Have Tourette’s Syndrome)

On True Life: I Have Tourette’s Syndrome, Alyssa showed the world how she navigates daily tasks and personal relationships with her disabilities. The episode followed her as she prepared for a surgery that induced deep brain stimulation, a procedure that is still highly experimental and is associated with many risk factors. However, Alyssa went through with the surgery and we’re happy to say that her disability has improved. She is now capable of controling her outburts and continues to make progress everyday.


Richard Hatch: Survivor (Borneo)

Richard Hatch was the first winner in Survivor history. He was one of the recipient’s of Sue’s “Rat & the Snake” speech, and walked off the island with $900,000. After Survivor, he competed on The Apprentice, Survivor: All Star, and The Biggest Loser: Temptation Nation. In 2006, Hatch was sentenced to three years in prison for fraud and tax evasion. In 2013, he was named one of TV Guide’s Top 60 Nastiest Villians of All Time.


Nene Leakes: Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Nene Leakes was another loved Real Housewife, but she came from the Atlanta installment of the reality series. She left the Real Housewives in 2008 and appeared on Glee, The Apprentice, The New Normal, and is currently a clothing designer for the Home Shopping Network. Leakes also has a tour comedy show called “So Nasty, So Rude” and has been touring since November of 2016.


Ashley Parker Angel: Making The Band

Ashley Parker Angel is still as cute as a button! He auditioned for MTV’s Making the Band in 2000 and was chosen for P. Diddy’s boy group, O-Town. The young men weren’t too succesful after releasing their debut single “Liquid Dreams,” and quickly fizzled out. In 2006, Ashley released a solo album that was met with moderate success. His journey to solo success was chronicled on his own tv show, There and Back, but after he toured with Ashley Simpson he set his sights on the broadway stage instead. He did well as a stage performer in Hairspray and also toured with the production of Wicked for a while.


Yoanna House: America’s Next Top Model

Yoanna House was the cycle 2 winner of America’s Next Top Model. She claimed her Covergirl contract and became a spokesmodel for cosmetic companies and fashion lines. Since her win as Top Model, Yoanna has become a television personality and host as well; she hosted the N’s Queen Bees and replaced Elizabeth Hasselbeck on The Look For Best in 2005. In 2008, she gave birth to her son Alastair, and has taken time off from modeling to spend time with her family.


Jon Gosselin: Jon & Kate Plus 8

Jon Gosselin isn’t doing as well as his former spouse, Kate. His relationship with his children are strained and he and Kate rarely speak, unless it’s regarding the kids. He was dating his ex-wife’s plastic surgeon’s daughter, Hailey Glassman, which had initially sparked rumors of infidelity in their marriage. In 2015, Jon started working as a nightclub DJ and works at TGI Friday’s as a prep cook about eight hours a week. He has also been dating a registered nurse named Colleen Conrad since 2014.
