Being the underdog is never easy, but some people use it as motivation to become better and stronger versions of themselves. Firefighter Presley Pritchard is one such person. As a petite, young mother no one could understand how on earth she had any business working for the fire department. Instead, many mocked her and decided she was a failure before even giving her a chance. But rather than become discouraged by all the nay-sayers around her – Presley decided to prove them all wrong, and then some.
Realizing she needed to be better than even the best of firefighters to be taken seriously by her boss, colleagues, and everyone around her, she started training day and night to increase her strength. And slowly but surely she started seeing the results – and impress the people who had so rudely doubted her. Today she is sharing her trials, tribulations and triumphs online, and inspiring thousands of women all over the world in the process.

Presley Pritchard from Kalispell, Montana is not exactly an ordinary 24-year-old. This young woman has already faced more challenges – and risen to them – than most do in a lifetime.

Growing up she early on had one big dream. She wanted to help people in need, in a very direct sense and early on set her eyes on firefighting as the career for her. This might not be the first choice for most short and petite women, but Presley knew what she wanted and she was willing to work hard to get it.
