Kathie Lee is part of the Today show duo – Kathie Lee and Hoda. She is also the widow of Frank Gifford, a former football player and sports commentator. But before her early morning talk show, Kathie Lee represented Maryland in the America’s Junior Miss pageant in 1970.
The pageant ended up changing her life because that is where she met singer, Anita Bryant, who hired her and helped her get a full scholarship to a university.
