Remember when we talked about the fact that Alex shaved his mustache in 2001, and everyone went crazy about it? Well, another fun fact about the removal of his ‘stache is that he stopped playing ice hockey because of it.
It’s possible that the whole thing was a coincidence, but it’s certainly strange that he stopped playing the intense, gritty sport at that particular time. Maybe there really is some mythical magic to the mustache?
