Queen B has raised funds for many organizations worldwide, with specific attention to issues like the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, for which she raised more than $82,000. In addition to the Robin Hood foundation that assists low-income areas in New York and the Black Lives Matter movement that gained a lot of momentum due to several police brutality shootings over the course of a short period of time. Beyonce brought the mothers of Eric Gardner, Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant and Michael Brown with her to the VMA’s in solidarity.
