[post_page_title]Julie Harris: Then[/post_page_title]
Julie Harris joined the cast of Knots Landing and was written off in 1987 due to financial complications on set. Before she was offered the role of Lilimae Clements, Harris was a Broadway actress who received 10 Tony Award nominations and won 5 of them. When she first accepted the role of Lilimae, it was because she was emerging from a career hiatus and had “nothing better to do” at the time.
