Bonnie Sveen starred on Home and Away for a short period of time, in comparison to her other co-stars, but was one of the series’ most interesting characters. Bonnie played Ricky Sharpe, first introduced in 2013, and was a love interest for Daryl Braxton. For her role, she won a Logie Award for Most Popular New Talent.
In 2016, she left the show to pursue another acting opportunity. She said, “If someone had told me 10 years ago that I’d be playing a staunch, surfie chick in Summer Bay (and that it would bring me more joy than I could imagine) I wouldn’t have believed them. Playing Ricky has shaped me for ever. I carry every bond that was forged and so many fond memories, into the new beginning.”

Now, Bonnie has joined the cast of The Secret Daughter as a starring player.
Sveen began dating assistant director Nathan Gooley in 2015 and has made an appearance as Ricky Sharpe in the Home and Away spin-off, Eye for an Eye, in 2015.
