Fisher couldn’t have known that, by the end of the 70s, she would be a household name and the leading lady of a mega-popular franchise. Of course, this was her taking on the role of Princess Leia and starting her career within the ‘Star Wars’ franchise.

Unfortunately, this leading lady is no longer with us. Fisher passed away following heart complications in 2016. She continued to appear in the following ‘Star Wars’ movies. Fisher had a long-lasting career and will continue to have everlasting fame.
