This photo shows an enormous amount of adult beverages being poured out of the windows of a factory in Detroit, Michigan, in 1929.
The reason the adult beverages were poured out was due to the fact that between 1920 and 1933 the period of prohibition had taken over the United States with the Eighteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. The reason for this was because of the growing concern of the affect adult beverages had on people and their behavior.
