Michael J Fox’s film debut was in 1980n when he featured in Midnight Madness, but it was Class of 1984 which rose him to fame. In 1985 it was his real and major breakthrough when he was cast as Marty McFly on the legendary film Back to the Future, a film that was about a teenage boy who travels back in time from the eighties to the fifties. He was also on the popular show, Family Ties with a lead role from 1982 to 1989.

The 5 year old actor was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in the beginning of the nineties when he was only 29, which changed his career and personal life forever. He is a big spokesperson and advocate for the research that is done for that horrible disease. Since the last decade he has mostly done voice over work and made some guest appearances on shows like Boston Legal and Scrubs. The Canadian – American actor has published three books and was also included on Canada’s Walk of Fame in 2000.
