\nDespite the persistent rumors and speculation that they would first move to California, which of course eventually turned out to be true, the power couple did temporarily settle on a lovely manor in Canada known as Mille Fleurs, French for \u201cThousand Flowers.\u201d The gorgeous setting certainly had plenty of ways to inspire them to bloom, with eight bedrooms, a huge living room, and even its very own pizza oven! Probably the most amazing attraction was the backyard view of the entire Saanich Inlet, one of Vancouver\u2019s most picturesque waterfronts.

\nVancouver is known for its exceptionally cold winters, so of course Meghan and Harry didn’t always want to step outside to take in the views. Fortunately, the Mille Fleurs boasted wall-to-wall panoramic windows, so that they could enjoy the outdoors cozied up to a beautiful and historic fireplace. First installed in the 17th century, the imported French brickwork has been maintained for over 400 years. Never fear, though – there are many modern conveniences as well, but they are all hidden carefully to maintain a timeless sense of majesty and glamorous appeal.

\nYou can\u2019t talk about the location without gushing over the amazing views of the Saanich Inlet, one of Vancouver\u2019s more incredible natural attractions. Indeed, many rich and famous people settle there just for the scenery, and as a result the \u201cGolden Mile\u201d around it is incredibly secure. With gated access roads and private security always on-site, Meghan and Harry never found themselves having to worry about snoopy reporters or adoring fans of the couple constantly stopping in to say hello.
