It makes us excited that a sequel may well be in the works. \n \n[post_page_title]A bewitching look[\/post_page_title] \nConsidering \u2018American Horror Story\u2019 is one of the most popular horror shows on television, the program\u2019s characters are perfect choices for Halloween costumes. \nA bewitching look<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nWe haven\u2019t seen too many of them over the years, but we do appreciate Kelly Osborne showing some love to the third season, \u2018Coven.\u2019 She once dressed up for Halloween as Myrtle Snow, the head of the Witches\u2019 Council who had an intriguing fashion sense. We\u2019d say she did Frances Conroy\u2019s character justice with this look, even if she didn\u2019t have any magical powers at her disposal. \n \n[post_page_title]The Queen of Halloween[\/post_page_title] \nIt doesn\u2019t matter what anyone wears on Halloween; they will never take the crown from Heidi Klum. Even though the series doesn\u2019t have that many episodes, and the wait between seasons is excruciatingly long, it\u2019s still insanely beloved. \nWubba lubba dub dub<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nUnfortunately, although people are big fans of the program, we wish they\u2019d think twice before wearing costumes of the characters. The intention might have been good here, but there\u2019s something quite unsettling about the mask this guy is wearing. We definitely wouldn\u2019t want to come across it when we were alone. \n \n[post_page_title]A cursed image[\/post_page_title] \nIf you\u2019ve never heard of cursed images before, then congratulations, because you\u2019ve found one. There\u2019s something about this photo that definitely has our spines tingling, and not in a good way. \nA cursed image<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nThese Halloween outfits are a great example of when costumes should not be constructed at home because they make things way too creepy. We\u2019re not sure if it\u2019s the way the kid is smiling in that giraffe attire, or the look of fear on the child with three heads. We totally get what these two were going for here, and in real life, these costumes probably didn\u2019t look quite so creepy. It has us wondering if there\u2019s even anything else under the mask, or if those elephant heads are now just a part of them. One of them would dress up as pig, another as a goat, and the last one as a chicken. \nDown on the farm<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nEveryone would know exactly what they were supposed to be as they went around trick or treating, and they\u2019d be praised for their costumes. Unfortunately, we\u2019re not sure if that\u2019s exactly how things worked out. While we can definitely tell what each of their outfits is supposed to be, there\u2019s something about them that just doesn\u2019t sit right. \n \n[post_page_title]Which one is it?[\/post_page_title] \nWe\u2019ll let you decide whether this is just a person in a Halloween costume, or a demonic entity ready to claim someone\u2019s life. It\u2019s like all the excitement has been sapped from her as she set out to find her next victim. The expression on her face is haunting, to the point that she almost looks scared. Maybe she\u2019s also afraid of clowns, but she was forced to dress up like one by her two companions. Now that would be dark. \n \n[post_page_title]Finger licking good[\/post_page_title] \nAlthough this guy\u2019s Halloween costume is pretty chilling, that\u2019s not what has us unsettled with this photo. Instead, it\u2019s the fact that everyone has their finger in each other\u2019s mouth, a bizarre action we wish we could explain. \nFinger licking good<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nMaybe if we understood why they were doing it, this whole thing would be a little less strange. Unfortunately, we\u2019re completely clueless, so we\u2019ll continue to be unnerved by the photo before us. We must admit we feel sorry for the kid because he had no say in being involved with this. \n \n[post_page_title]On the boil[\/post_page_title] \nRemember that couple who were dressed up as a chef and lobster? We pointed out how dark that costume design could be, but we chose to look on the lighter side of things. Unfortunately, it\u2019s hard to do that with this picture. \nOn the boil<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nWe know this woman is only joking, but it\u2019s still uncomfortable seeing her put this child in a pan as though she\u2019s going to boil them alive. The fact that the little one is crying doesn\u2019t help matters, and it just makes this scenario all feel disturbingly sadistic. \n \n[post_page_title]Right hand red[\/post_page_title] \nTwister is supposed to just be a harmless game that you can play with your friends and family. Sure, things can get a little awkward or uncomfortable, depending on where you\u2019re told to put your hands and feet. However, there\u2019s nothing about the game that’s meant to intentionally be untoward. \nRight hand red<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nUnfortunately, this guy has gone and changed all that with his Halloween outfit. We\u2019re going to go ahead and assume he\u2019s single judging by what he wants people to do. We just hope that others didn\u2019t take him too seriously. \n \n[post_page_title]Rise of the pumpkin people[\/post_page_title] \nWe\u2019ve been looking at this photo for far too long now, and we\u2019re still not entirely sure how many of these pumpkin people are real. We\u2019re certain that the one on the left is someone in a costume, but the one on the right we\u2019re not so sure about. \nRise of the pumpkin people<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nThe fact that they\u2019re both wearing the same thing definitely has us wondering what\u2019s going on here. She looks like she\u2019s seen some things that she didn\u2019t want to, and that has us pretty terrified. \n \n[post_page_title]Beware the sock monster[\/post_page_title] \nWords almost fail us when it comes to this Halloween costume. We\u2019re not entirely sure what the outfit is supposed to be, although we\u2019d assume a sock monster judging by what they\u2019re covered in. \nBeware the sock monster<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nIt\u2019s not especially inventive, although we give them credit for making use of what they had. Not everyone wants to throw away loads of money on a look they\u2019ll only wear once for the entire year. Of course, that still doesn\u2019t explain why they\u2019ve opted for such harsh makeup on their face. \n \n[post_page_title]Let me out[\/post_page_title] \nGetting in on the Halloween action when you\u2019re pregnant can definitely be tricky. Not every costume looks right when you\u2019ve got a bump, which means you have to get creative. Unfortunately, we fear that this mom might have gotten a little too dark with her ideas. \nLet me out<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nWhile we can definitely see the comedic side that she was going for, there\u2019s also something super unsettling about having a baby\u2019s arms and legs sticking out of you like this. The words \u201cLET ME OUT\u201d also do nothing to ease our concerns. \n \n[post_page_title]Creature of the deep[\/post_page_title] \nWhen it comes to Disney villains, Ursula from the animated movie \u2018The Little Mermaid\u2019 is definitely one of the more memorable. It helps that she\u2019s such an imposing creature, and her final battle is one of the more epic in the Disney princess series. \nCreature of the deep<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nConsidering how iconic Ursula is, we\u2019re not surprised that people would want to dress as her for Halloween. She and the holiday go together like peanut butter and jelly. However, we don\u2019t think this person has quite managed the sinister look they were probably going for. \n \n[post_page_title]Wandering eyes[\/post_page_title] \nAfter more than 30 years on our TV screens, we can\u2019t deny that the animated series \u2018The Simpsons\u2019 is now a staple of mainstream society. Sure, it might not be as popular as it once was, but that shouldn\u2019t take away from how much it\u2019s influenced pop culture over the years. \nWandering eyes<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nOf course, we wish it hadn\u2019t affected this lot quite so much, because then this picture wouldn\u2019t exist. Things would be infinitely better if they\u2019d just done a better job of cutting the eye holes on Ned and Marge. \n \n[post_page_title]Star flaws[\/post_page_title] \nYou\u2019ve always got to admire people for trying. Not everyone is super talented at designing Halloween costumes, and we can\u2019t all afford to buy expertly-made ones from the store. This lot definitely had to try and get creative with their costumes, and it, unfortunately, didn\u2019t pay off for everyone. C-3PO has certainly seen better days, as has R2-D2. \nStar flaws<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nAs for Chewbacca, there was definitely a mix up with the hair colors because they\u2019re the wrong way round. At least we can tell who everyone is supposed to be, though. \n \n[post_page_title]Pinata party[\/post_page_title] \nWe have to point out that this girl has done an excellent job with her costume here. We\u2019re not sure whether she bought it or made it herself, but either way, it looks amazing. However, we\u2019re not too thrilled that her other half is going around carrying a stick like this. \nPinata party<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nObviously, the point of the costume is that she is a pinata, and therefore, she\u2019s filled with candy. The fact that you traditionally get the sweet treats out of a pinata by hitting it, though, leaves us feeling uneasy. \n \n[post_page_title]A farmyard frenzy[\/post_page_title] \nWhat do we even say about these outfits? The contrast between what some of these people are wearing and what they have on their heads is incredibly disconcerting. Then, of course, there\u2019s the fact that everyone is wearing these bizarre masks. \nA farmyard frenzy<\/figcaption><\/figure> \nWe\u2019re not sure which one is more unsettling, the sinister-looking pig or the raw chicken with a few slits for eyes and a mouth.
