\nThe Royal Family has been a major focus of attention by the media, as well as people all over the world. Everyone loves them, and we’re not just talking about the people of England. They’re even more glamorous and pristine than your regular celebrity, and their lives are fascinating. As so much is kept a secret regarding the Royal Family, people are extremely curious about them, so every little bit of information about them makes us giddy.
\nCelebrities are adored and revered by many people, but they’re no match for the Royal Family. So when they get a chance to meet the royals, they get excited just like the rest of us would. Sure, they’re probably better at retaining their composure (being actors and all that), but they get nervous nonetheless. The funny thing, however, is that the Royal Family members might be just as excited to meet these celebrities.
\nThe royals are basically huge celebrities, but they also do regular things like watching TV shows and films, and they have actors and music artists that they love, just like the rest of us. So if they get to meet some of them, they might become just as starstruck. Sometimes, these celebs get along so well with the royals, they even become friends. Either way, these pictures show some of these crazy encounters between regular celebrities and the Royals. Some of them might just make you laugh…

\nWe’re not sure if Cara Delevingne is laughing at Prince Charles’ amazing sense of humor, or just really excited about meeting some royals. But then again, who wouldn’t be? The British model and ‘Suicide Squad’ actress met Prince Charles at a charity event dedicated to saving the Asian Elephant from extinction, which was hosted by him and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall in 2013.

\nWhile she’s a few decades younger than the rest, they seem to enjoy each other’s company.

\nNow this is what we call a party! When famous rappers Kanye West and P. Diddy (or Puff Daddy, or whatever he goes by these days) met Prince Harry and Prince William, it seemed like the party was officially on.

\nThey met at the reception after a 2007 London concert, which was held in memory of Princess Diana, William and Harry’s mother. The two princes were both bachelors at the time, although William was already dating now-Duchess Kate.

\nDuchess Kate Middleton has been a fashion symbol ever since she started dating Prince Harry, and who knows fashion better than Elle Woods herself, Reese Witherspoon? The Legally Blonde actress met with Kate in 2011, at the Launch of Tusk Trust’s US Patron’s Circle reception, and the two apparently really took to each other.

\nThe Duchess even sent Reese a present when she gave birth to her son, Tennessee, in 2012. We knew she was a genuine sweetheart!

\nApparently, tennis legend Serena Williams is pretty good friends with Duchess Meghan. The two met in 2010 at the Super Bowl party and immediately hit it off. Meghan even wrote about the encounter in her former blog The Tig, saying the two discussed girly stuff and bonded.

\nThe Duchess and the tennis champion been close friends ever since, supporting each other through major events, such as Wimbledon tournaments and royal weddings. And now expecting royal babies is added to the list!

\nMost celebrities get extremely excited if they get a chance to meet with the Royal Family. But judging by this picture, it seems that Prince William was the one who could hardly contain himself, when he met with Australian actress Nicole Kidman at the BAFTA Brits To Watch event in Los Angeles.

\nWe can hardly blame him, though, because Nicole is basically fantastic at everything she does. And we’re pretty sure she’s equally excited to meet The Prince.

\nActress and director Angeline Jolie has done an impressive amount of charity work and has raised awareness for countless causes, such as preventing violence against women around the world. \nIt was a huge honor, and Angie seemed genuinely moved to receive the honorary title from The Queen herself. She even looked like a proper royal, wearing that stylish suit.

\nGuadalupe Lopez (who bears a striking resemblance to her daughter, by the way), got to meet Prince William and Duchess Kate along with her daughter, and she seems pretty excited about it.

\nThis magical moment happened at the Kensington Palace charity event which took place in 2013. Taylor Swift, Jon Bon Jovi, and Prince William, actually shared a stage and sang “Livin’ on a Prayer” together. Who knew Prince William could sing? We certainly did not.

\nThis picture, which dates back to 1956, is rare footage of The Queen meeting with the iconic Marilyn Monroe. The two were both 30 years old at the time, so if Marilyn was still alive, she would have been the same age as The Queen.

\nMonroe was living in Hollywood with husband Arthur Miller, and Elizabeth II had been The Queen for approximately five years, when the two met at the premiere of The Battle of the River Plate, which was held at London\u2019s Leicester Square.

\nIt seems that the Cavaliers were so excited about the Royals sitting court side, they stepped up their game even further and beat the Nets 110-88. LeBron even said, “Yeah, they brought luck to us.”

\nIt was the premiere of The Beatles’ film ‘Help!’ and the popular band members seem pretty darn excited about meeting members of the Royal Family.

\nMiss World Priyanka Chopra met the Duchess in 2017, in ELLE magazine’s Women in Television event. The two bonded over acting (apparently Chopra was a fan of Suits), and became close friends. Meghan even called her “unbelievable” and said the two just clicked.

\nPriyanka has since defended Meghan quite a few times when she was accused for being allegedly “fake”, and was pretty excited to learn about her pregnancy. She even reportedly said she needed to catch up – so Nick Jonas, you better start working on it!

\nThese pictures got us pretty darn nostalgic for the ’90s. Back then, the Spice Girls were one of the biggest icons of Great Britain, so why wouldn’t they get to meet Prince Charles, really? Only, perhaps they took it a bit too far.

\nYou’ll notice Sporty Spice wiping something off of the Prince’s cheek (we sincerely hope she didn’t use her saliva), and Ginger Spice is getting pretty friendly with him. We won’t even mention that lipstick on his face.

\nHelen Mirren is a legendary actress, who got to play the role of Queen Elizabeth II for the film The Queen. She played the part wonderfully (and even snagged an Oscar for it), and we guess The Queen thought so herself. The two shook hands, and Mirren admitted she is “genuinely always astounded by her aura, her twinkle, her presence.”

\nBritish singer Ellie Goulding, who reportedly dated Prince Harry for a while before Meghan Markle came along, is standing right in the back.

\nIn this particular case, we’re pretty sure it’s the Royals who were more excited to meet the celebrity than the other way around. Not that meeting Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie wouldn’t be absolutely thrilling, but as they were young ladies at the time, we can only imagine they were just as smitten with Leonardo DiCaprio as we were back then.

\nMany people were quite shocked when The Queen herself agreed to participate in an amusing sequence in the 2012 Olympics held in London. The skit saw Daniel Craig as James Bond, arriving at the palace to escort The Queen to the ceremony, and it was glorious.

\nIt’s reported that she was very keen to get her picture taken with the actor, and even insisted that the rest of the staff get to take pictures with him as well. She’s definitely our favorite Bond girl as of yet!

\nIn March this year, Tom Hardy and Olivia Colman – both incredibly talented actors – got to meet Prince Charles at The Prince’s Trust Awards. Tom Hardy is no stranger to the Royal Family.

\nThe reason behind his connection with Prince Harry is somewhat secretive, and he was even invited to Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s wedding, to which he attended with his wife, actress Charlotte Riley. We love this funny moment between the three in this picture, especially that hilarious expression on Olivia’s face.
