The days of Hollywood’s Golden Age are long over – they have been for almost 60 years now – but amazingly enough, some of its biggest and brightest stars are still with us, and are still going strong despite the fact some are over a hundred.

[post_page_title]Tippi Hedren – 88 years old[/post_page_title]

The 88-year-old actress and model has enjoyed the warm glow of the limelight for nearly seven decades now, as Hedren began modeling at the tender age of 20. While she was still starting out in the modeling business, she was fortunate enough to be introduced to renowned director Alfred Hitchcock, who cast her to star in his horror-thriller film The Birds, which sent her career flying upwards – no pun intended.

She has then gone on to appear in numerous film and television roles, including crime drama CSI, comedy film Free Samples, and sitcom Cougar Town. Most recently, Hedren returned to her modeling days and is currently modeling timepieces for Gucci.

[post_page_title]Kirk Douglas – 101 years old[/post_page_title]

While in the past Douglas was famous for his iconic film roles, these days he’s more lauded for being one of the sole surviving members of Hollywood’s Golden Age. Battling to escape a life of poverty as a youngster, his breakthrough role came in 1946 film noir The Strange Love of Martha Ivers.

He has made more than 90 film appearances to date, including legendary turns in historical epics Paths of Glory and Spartacus, and was most recently spotted at the 2018 Golden Globes with his daughter-in-law, Catherine Zeta-Jones, when the two presented the award for Best Screenplay together. It was his first major awards show appearance since the 2011 Oscars.

[post_page_title]David Attenborough – 92 years old[/post_page_title]

Very few people have become completely synonymous with a particular genre of television or filmmaking, but Sir David Attenborough certainly is one of them. This legendary nature films narrator began making films in the 1960s, and has gone from black and white to color, and then to 3D and even 4K.

Not too shabby. As if that wasn’t enough, he’s still making nature documentaries at 92, and is showing no signs of slowing down. In fact, his sequel to 2001’s Blue Planet – simply named Blue Planet II – garnered the highest ratings in the U.K. for that year.

[post_page_title]Dick Van Dyke – 92 years old[/post_page_title]

While getting a sitcom named after you isn’t bad as far as career starts go, Van Dyke’s trajectory somehow aimed even higher after that.

This shining star of the sixties went on to appear in such all-time classics as Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Bye Bye Birdie. Far from resting on his laurels in his golden years, Van Dyke made recent appearances in the Night at the Museum films, playing villain Cecil Fredericks.

[post_page_title]Eva Marie Saint – 94 year old[/post_page_title]

With a career spanning seven decades (and counting!), Eva Marie Saint is a bonafide Hollywood screen legend. She first rocketed to stardom for her role in drama On the Waterfront and the Alfred Hitchcock thriller North by Northwest.

Her body of work has received acclaim not just from fans but also from Tinseltown’s institution, netting her multiple awards. She most recently appeared in Superman Returns and romantic drama Winter’s Tale, also lending her voice to cartoon show The Legend of Korra.

[post_page_title]Beverly Cleary – 102 years old[/post_page_title]

If you were asked who America’s most successful living author was, you might say Stephen King or Danielle Steel, but what about children and young adult author Beverly Cleary?

She’s a firm contender for one of the best-selling American author of all times, with her books having sold more than 91 million copies worldwide. Cleary began writing in the 1950s, and her last book – Ramona’s World, starring her most enduring creation Ramona Quimby – came out in 1999. No longer working, she has been living in a retirement home since 2016.

[post_page_title]Sean Connery – 88 years old[/post_page_title]

Most actors would probably be willing to off someone to score a role as iconic as James Bond. Scottish film legend Sean Connery did, starring in seven of the series’ films.

He later had extremely memorable turns in the crime epic The Untouchables, adventure classic Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and thriller The Hunt for Red October. While his last on-screen appearance came in 2003’s The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, and his last voice role came with 2012’s children’s animated film Sir Billi, Connery is now enjoying retirement.

[post_page_title]Loretta Lynn – 86 years old[/post_page_title]

Country music legend Loretta Lynn’s dulcet tones have been making the world dance for the past 60 years, with the singer issuing such hits as One’s on the Way, Fist City, and You Ain’t Woman Enough (To Take My Man).

She was recognized for her work, winning numerous awards, and has sold more than 48 million albums worldwide. A recent 2017 health scare signaled her to take it easy, but Lynn continues entertaining even at 86 years old.

[post_page_title]Cloris Leachman – 92 years old[/post_page_title]

This actress’s non-conventional looks belie the fact she started her career in show business… as a beauty pageant winner, taking the Miss Chicago crown in 1946. From there it was on to Miss America, where she placed in the not-too-shabby 16th place.

Leachman then transitioned to acting, with memorable roles in films The Last Picture Show and Young Frankenstein in the 1970s. She then made another switch – to television – appearing in The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spin-off Phyllis, and The Facts of Life. she recently appeared in 2018 drama film I Can Only Imagine.

[post_page_title]Vera Lynn – 101 years old[/post_page_title]

Even with her age now in the triple digits, Vera Lynn is still probably most well-known for being the Forces’ Sweetheart, a moniker she won entertaining English soldiers in World War Two.

The English crooner later traveled the world over, singing such classics as There’ll Always Be an England, The White Cliffs of Dover, and We’ll Meet Again, before moving on to various film and television roles. Even more amazingly, she still performs today, and even released a compilation album last year, simply titled Vera Lynn 100.

[post_page_title]Kim Novak – 85 years old[/post_page_title]

First coming into her own in the 1950s with film roles in romantic comedy Picnic, drama The Man with the Golden Arm, and musical Pal Joey, Novak continued churning out hits well into the 1960s, when she made the unprecedented decision to retire in 1966.

She made sporadic appearance in films over the course of the next three decades, but has been well and truly retired since 1991. However, the 85-year-old still makes public appearances at awards ceremonies and other public events, which she sometimes hosts.

[post_page_title]Ed Asner – 88 years old[/post_page_title]

Despite the fact they originally aired more than 50 years ago, Ed Asner probably still gets stopped on the street for playing grumpy news director and then city editor Lou Grant on The Mary Tyler Moore Show and its spin-off Lou Grant.

Don’t take that to mean he’s been lying around on the job since, though, as the versatile actor has – since just the turn of the century – starred in the Will Ferrell comedy Elf, animated Disney-Pixar classic Up, and political-legal drama The Good Wife. Even old age can’t seem to slow a good man down.

[post_page_title]Norman Lloyd – 103 years old[/post_page_title]

Even though he’s currently 103 years old, it almost defies belief to think that Lloyd has been in the entertainment business for the past 80 years.

Clearly, this actor, director and producer – who notably appeared in the suspense anthology series Alfred Hitchcock Presents and medical drama St. Elsewhere – is one of the most seasoned pros Hollywood has ever seen. Even more mind-blowing? He’s still working, as he appeared on Fly, a television drama recounting the true story of the first all-African-American flight crew.

[post_page_title]Queen Elizabeth II – 92 years old[/post_page_title]

Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom holds two distinctions – she is the world’s current longest reigning monarch, and – at 92 – the oldest head of state as well.

Her coronation ceremony took place on June, 1953, and she doesn’t seem like she’s ready to give up the throne just yet. She has, however, made some concessions due to her advancing years, and doesn’t travel abroad anymore, but she’s still present in person for all major events, such as royal engagements and the most recent royal wedding between Meghan Markle and her grandson Prince Harry.

[post_page_title]Carol Channing – 97 years old[/post_page_title]

The inimitable Carol Channing began her entertainment career on the Great White Way, with roles in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes and Hello, Dolly! that skyrocketed her to fame.

She then jumped from stage straight to screen with roles in musical romantic comedy Thoroughly Modern Millie and just plain comedy Skidoo, as well as appeared on shows such as The Ed Sullivan Show. At 97 years old, Channing is still keeping busy, mostly with the release of her autobiography and the audiobook version thereof, which she naturally narrated.

[post_page_title]Betty White – 96 years old[/post_page_title]

You’d think being one of the world’s greatest ever comedians would be enough for Betty White, but you’d be wrong – she also holds the distinction of having the longest television career for any female entertainer, ever!

It should come as no surprise, as White has always broken down barriers – she was the first woman to star and produce a show – her sitcom Life with Elizabeth. Life with Betty, meanwhile, is showing no signs of slowing down, as just recently she appeared in the romantic comedy The Proposal and the animated musical The Lorax.

[post_page_title]Mel Brooks – 92 years old[/post_page_title]

Brooks is world renowned for his uproariously hilarious comedy films, such as Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles and The Producers, the last of which he turned into a Broadway show in the early 2000s.

That show won the talented actor and director his first Tony, attaining the entertainment world’s most prestigious honor in the process – being an EGOT winner, or having won Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards. This is a feat shared by only 12 people in history, so that’s pretty select company. Even with nothing left to prove, he’s still working at 92, doing voiceover work for animated features.

[post_page_title]June Lockhart – 93 years old[/post_page_title]

Over the span of five decades – starting with the 1960s and ending with the 2000s – Lockhart was a mainstay of American television, having appears in a multitude of shows running the gamut from soap operas like Knots Landing, to science-fiction series such as Babylon 5 and sitcoms like Bewitched.

She’s best known, perhaps, for playing two mother roles: the first in Lassie and the second in Lost in Space. At 93, she’s taking things a little easier these days, and we’d say she’s more than earned it.

[post_page_title]Carl Reiner – 96 years old[/post_page_title]

Since he’s getting on in years now, it’s easy to forget just how influential and important Carl Reiner was – and still is – to comedy, but that would be a mistake that’s no laughing matter.

Reiner created sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show and Saturday Night Live precursor sketch show Caesar’s Hour, both extremely influential in the early days of television comedy. He also happens to be the father of Rob Reiner, an actor-director that was just as influential in comedy. Like fellow comedian Mel Brooks, Reiner still does occasional voiceover work in shows like Family Guy and Duck Duck Goose.

[post_page_title]Marsha Hunt – 101 years old[/post_page_title]

Actress Marsha Hunt is an inspirational example of standing up for what you believe in. She was hugely successful in Hollywood in the 1930s-1940s, but then the winds of change blew and the “Red Scare” of the 1950s began.

Firm in her beliefs, Hunt campaigned against the notorious House of Un-American Activities Committee, and paid the price – she struggled mightily to find work throughout most of the 1950s. The once successful actress, who starred in drama Cry Havoc and period piece Pride and Prejudice, says she has no regrets, and we can do nothing but salute her for being a real paragon of American values.

[post_page_title]Jackie Mason – 87 years old[/post_page_title]

Stand-up comic Jackie Mason’s unique brand of humor – deeply inspired by his Jewish identity – was highly influential in the comedy circuit, as his attitude won him a multitude of fans, as well as got him into some hot water once when he was accused of giving legendary variety show host Ed Sullivan a rude gesture.

Mason’s 1986 one-man show The World According to Me was incredibly successful, and won him both an Emmy and a Tony, as well as a nomination for a Grammy. He was still acting as recently as 2011, and still voices Krusty the Clown’s father Hyman on The Simpsons every so often.

[post_page_title]Marge Champion – 99 years old[/post_page_title]

Back in the early days of Disney animation, the animators’ work was even harder than it is today, as they had no computers to help them with the process.

To that end, they made extensive use of models, and Champion was one such model, used in several Disney projects, especially as a model for dancing. She helped create such classics as Fantasia, Dumbo, and Pinocchio, and even worked on the studio’s first animated feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, although she was never credited for the work. After her time at Disney, she taught dance and did some choreography for several films and television shows.

[post_page_title]Sidney Poitier – 91 years old[/post_page_title]

If there was ever an actor that required almost no introduction, it would be Sidney Poitier, who was the first black actor to win an Academy Award and a Golden Globe, both of which he received for starring in the 1963 drama Lilies of the Field.

Alongside acting, Poitier was also a prominent member of various social and humanitarian causes, most notably the Civil Rights Movement, and for a decade was even the Bahamian ambassador to Japan – although he was born in Miami, his parents were just visiting. He also tried his hand at directing, but is now retired.

[post_page_title]Gloria Henry – 95 years old[/post_page_title]

This actress was a household name in the United States, albeit for a relatively short period of time, for her role as Alice Mitchell on the CBS comedy Dennis the Menace, which was the famous comic strip’s first adaptation, running from 1959 to 1963.

She was already an industry veteran at that point, having appears in films and TV for a decade prior. After the show’s cancellation, however, her appearances became sporadic, but never completely disappeared, with her last appearance coming with a 2012 guest spot on comedy Parks and Recreation.

[post_page_title]Robert Clary – 92 years old[/post_page_title]

Clary’s most famous role was a memorable one – that of Corporal Louis LeBeau on 1960s mainstay comedy about a World War Two prisoner of war camp, Hogan’s Heroes.

The role was especially poignant for the Jewish actor, as he was himself imprisoned in a concentration camp during the war. Before his imprisonment, Clary was also a professional singer, a job he returned to after his release and the war’s end. His tunes became all the rage on both sides of the Atlantic, scoring hits in the U.S. and France, but he is now enjoying a well-earned retirement.

[post_page_title]Diana Serra Cary – 100 years old[/post_page_title]

Considering her age, it should come as no shock that actress Diana Serra Cary’s heyday came almost a century ago. In fact, she was one of the silent era of cinema’s biggest child stars, notching more than 150 films in the space of a few short years.

She eventually felt she had gotten all that she could out of the profession, and moved onto a new one – writing. She has since authored several books, including a historical novel and her autobiography, dishing all of the dirt about her life as a child star in cinema’s earliest days.

[post_page_title]John Astin – 88 years old[/post_page_title]

The Addams Family is a generational test – upon hearing the iconic macabre family’s name, younger viewers immediately think of the films released in the 1990s, and Raúl Juliá’s wonderful performance as the family’s patriarch Gomez.

Older viewers, however, go right back to the original – the 1960s television series, which starred Astin in the Gomez role. He took on another famous character for the campy television adaptation of Batman, this time playing the Riddler, and had more memorable roles later, such as in St. Elsewhere. He’s another golden ager still involved with voice work, having contributed to the animated Justice League Action TV show just last year.

[post_page_title]Caren Marsh Doll – 99 years old[/post_page_title]

This talented dancer has the rare distinction of being one of only seven people involved either behind or in front of the camera with the production of one of Hollywood’s most legendary movies – The Wizard of Oz.

In fact, Marsh Doll was a dance stand-in for the film’s lead star, Judy Garland. She continued working in the film industry for a few decades more after that, but dance has always been her number one passion. Don’t believe us? Even at 99, she still works as a dance therapy instructor in Palm Springs.

[post_page_title]Hal Holbrook – 93 years old[/post_page_title]

We think that if Hal Holbrook stops acting, something bad might happen. There’s no other reason we can think of to explain why this 93-year-old actor is still busily chugging away in Hollywood.

Beginning in 1954, and his critically-acclaimed one-man show, he went on to play informant Deep Throat in political thriller All the President’s Men, which cemented his star status, and then appeared in Holocaust drama Julia and supernatural horror film The Fog. Like we said, he’s still acting, and could be seen just last year in episodes of Bones, Grey’s Anatomy, and Hawaii Five-0.

[post_page_title]Janis Paige – 96 years old[/post_page_title]

Janis Paige is one of those actresses that seems to be able to glide effortlessly not only between roles but also between mediums, going from the stage to the screen – both big and small – and back again.

Her work was so prolific that throughout most of the 20th century, you’d actually have to work hard to not see her work somewhere, be it on medical drama General Hospital or her turn in the Broadway musical Mame. after working so hard for so long, Paige is now enjoying an entirely new field – retirement.

[post_page_title]Doris Day – 96 years old[/post_page_title]

This Hollywood icon began her career in a big band, for which she provided the vocals. She achieved even more fame after breaking out on her own solo career, releasing more than 650 singles from the late forties to the late sixties.

We don’t know how she managed, but Day somehow broke out of the recording studio to appear in films such as thriller The Man Who Knew Too Much, and romantic comedy Pillow Talk. In recent years, however, she has been more camera shy, withdrawing from the public eye save for a handful of charity appearances.

[post_page_title]Christopher Plummer – 88 years old[/post_page_title]

This actor’s most famous role was a long time ago – 1965, to be exact – but it was one for the ages. Plummer appeared as Captain von Trapp in The Sound of Music, which was just the highlight of his impressive six-decade career.

Another highlight? Being the oldest ever Oscar winner – at 82 – and the oldest ever Oscar nominee – at 88, for his role as J. Paul Getty in 2017’s All the Money in the World. Now almost 90, the Canadian actor is still working, and has multiple projects in development.

[post_page_title]Bob Barker – 94 years old[/post_page_title]

While he has done a lot throughout his illustrious career, there is one thing Bob Barker will always be synonymous with – The Price Is Right.

For 35 years, Barker hosted the game show, winning a whopping 19 Emmy Awards in the process, an unprecedented number – 14 of which he personally won as Outstanding Game Show Host. Due to his advanced age Barker has sadly had to retire and pass the mantle to Drew Carey, but he has made guest appearances here and there, just to remind everyone who’s boss.

[post_page_title]Norma Miller – 98 years old[/post_page_title]

We haven’t reached the King of Calypso yet (keep reading), but here we have the “Queen of Swing” – Norma Miller. Miller won that honor after appearing in musical Hellzapoppin, and specifically one especially swinging dance scene.

It was just one of many roles the actress played throughout the 20th century, and she also appeared in another musical, this time a comedy – A Day at the Races. She didn’t stray far from her claim to fame, and played a dancer in most of her roles. The Harlem native also authored several books, mostly about swing music, and co-authored a tome about African-American comedy with longtime friend Redd Foxx.

[post_page_title]Stan Lee – 95 years old[/post_page_title]

If you’ve ever picked up a Marvel comic book, you know who Stan Lee is. If you haven’t… Well, you’ve seen his work, as most of the characters now appearing in Marvel movies – Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, the Hulk, and the rest of the gang – were created by him.

Lee is the former editor-in-chief of Marvel Comics, where he ushered in a new age for comics, which today have been translated to films raking in billions of dollars. While no longer working in comics, Lee is still given respect by having him appear in cameos in all Marvel films.

[post_page_title]Bob Newhart – 89 years old[/post_page_title]

It seems like Bob Newhart has always been around, certainly for the younger people among us. A comedian since birth, his deadpan delivery and quick it launched his show business career.

He’s probably best known for his two self-titled sitcoms – The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart – which ran for six and eight years respectively. Another memorable turn came in the Christmas movie Elf, in which he played Papa Elf. Somehow, the octogenarian comic is still ticking, with an impressive work schedule – just like year he appeared in The Librarians, Young Sheldon and The Big Bang Theory!

[post_page_title]Angela Lansbury – 93 years old[/post_page_title]

What’s there to say about Angela Lansbury? That her acting career began in 1944 and ended… Well, it hasn’t yet, we’ll let you know. That she voiced the mom of an entire generation – Mrs. Potts in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast?

Nevermind, we know – how about the fact that for 12 years, no crime could be committed without Jessica Fletcher being around to solve it, in Murder, She Wrote? Whatever we or anybody else says about her, Angela Lansbury is a legend, and at 92 – an age when most English grandmothers would retire to the countryside – she’s still acting.

[post_page_title]Tony Bennett – 92 years old[/post_page_title]

This soulful crooner started making music in the 1950s, and hasn’t stopped since. His debut single Because of You landed squarely at number 1 on the U.S. charts, but he has shown he doesn’t at all mind playing well with others, as his 2014 collaboration with Lady Gaga, Cheek to Cheek, proved in spades.

Bennett won 19 Grammy Awards and sold more than 50 million records – and counting! Here’s something you might not have known: he’s an avid painter, and his work has been on display in numerous art institutions, including the Smithsonian.

[post_page_title]Honor Blackman – 93 years old[/post_page_title]

British actress Honor Blackman is probably most well known for playing a Bond girl in the movie Goldfinger, whose character name we couldn’t possibly repeat. Suffice it to say, it rhymes with Lucy.

The sixties was truly her decade, though, as she appeared in such classics as Jason and the Argonauts on film and The Avengers on television. She far from called it quits after that, though, as she appeared on television as recently as 2015, with a guest part in the British television show You, Me & Them.

[post_page_title]Olivia De Havilland – 102 years old[/post_page_title]

If Kirk Douglas is one of the sole surviving male stars from the Golden Age of Hollywood, then Olivia De Havilland is one of the only female ones.

Like Douglas, she’s also more than a century old – 102, to be exact – and has acted in such classics as The Adventures of Robin Hood, the absolute classic Gone with the Wind, and drama The Heiress. Queen Elizabeth, also a distinguished member of this list, recently anointed De Havilland a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, making her the oldest woman to be afforded that honor.

[post_page_title]Chuck Yeager – 95 years old[/post_page_title]

If you think about aviation, you’re probably thinking of Chuck Yeager, one of the world’s most famous pilots. Yeager began flying in World War Two, in which he carried out 61 successful sorties, but continued in the Vietnam War, later becoming a test pilot.

In that capacity, he became the first pilot to break the speed of sound – a feat he replicated 48 years later, at age 72! Not impressed yet? Fine, he did it again, this time as a passenger, at age 89.

[post_page_title]James Lipton – 92 years old[/post_page_title]

It’s unheard of for someone to be so famous for appearing in a show in which he was never the biggest star. That’s certainly the case for James Lipton, whose Inside the Actors Studio has been on the air for 24 years, broadcast to 89 million homes in 125 countries.

Lipton has hosted everybody who’s anybody in Hollywood, and few ever dared turn an invite down. Now 91, Lipton is still trucking along, and has been on his show as recently as January, 2018. It’s almost impossible to remember at this point, but he used to be an actor, appearing for a decade on soap Guiding Light.

[post_page_title]Harry Belafonte – 91 years old[/post_page_title]

We’ve finally come to the “King of Calypso,” Harry Belafonte. As his nickname hints, he began in music and then later moved to acting. His most enduring hint was The Banana Boat Song, which we all know as the “Day-o” song.

In his second career, he appeared in 1953 hit musical Carmen Jones and 1959 film noir Odds Against Tomorrow. Along with Sidney Poitier, he spearheaded the Civil Rights Movement, standing shoulder to shoulder with Martin Luther King Jr. He hasn’t put down the social mantle, either, as he’s still active in various causes. He even still acts, appearing in the latest Spike Lee movie currently in theaters.

[post_page_title]William Daniels – 91 years old[/post_page_title]

William Daniels is one of those actors whom you’ve seen a million times, and you even know where, but you might not know their names. And that’s alright, because they let their iconic characters do all the speaking for them.

You’ve seen him as Dr. Mark Craig on six seasons of St. Elsewhere, for which he won two Emmy Awards, and on Boy Meets World playing the wise teacher Mr. Feeny, a role he reprised in the 2014 spin-off Girl Meets World. Fun fact: he voiced talking car KITT in Knight Rider. Last year, Daniels released an autobiography recounting his decades’ long career.

[post_page_title]Jerry Stiller – 91 years old[/post_page_title]

Every Seinfeld fan will immediately recognize this veteran funnyman as George’s cranky father Frank Costanza, but his career making people laugh dates back decades.

Its beginnings, actually, can be traced back to a duo – Stiller and Meara – in which he appeared alongside wife Anne Meara. The two made several appearances in places like The Ed Sullivan Show. Stiller once again played an irritable father in another sitcom – The King of Queens – and is also famous for being the real-life father of actor Ben Stiller, with whom he appeared in 2016’s Zoolander 2.

[post_page_title]James Hong – 89 years old[/post_page_title]

This veteran character actor has been active since the mid-fifties, playing a whole host of roles fitting of his ethnic background in both film and television, which is ironic since he’s really from the Midwest – Minneapolis, actually.

His two earliest famous roles had him playing a good guy, followed by a villain – butler Kahn in Chinatown and then evil sorcerer Lo Pan in Big Trouble in Little China. Hong’s distinctive voice also made several appearances of its own, like imperial adviser Chi-Fu in Mulan and Mr. Ping in Kung Fu Panda. He’s far from done, and at 89 still has multiple projects in the can for 2018.

[post_page_title]Max von Sydow – 89 years old[/post_page_title]

Very few actors can say they’ve appeared in arthouse films as much as blockbusters, and have been equally successful in both. Swedish actor Max von Sydow is one of them.

A favorite of director Ingmar Bergman, with whom he collaborated on 11 films, this screen giant – we mean that literally, he’s 6’4” – has appeared in more than a hundred films and television shows. His blockbusters? The Exorcist, in which he played tormented priest Father Lankester Merrin, to name one. More recent ones are Star Wars: The Force Awakens on film and Game of Thrones on TV, and at 89, he has lots more work lined up.

[post_page_title]Barbara Walters – 89 years old[/post_page_title]

This veteran news lady has been making and breaking records since 1974, when she was appointed the first female co-host of a U.S. news program, The Today Show.

Not content with that record, she became first female co-anchor of a network evening news show just two years later, for ABC News. Feeling that was just another notch in her belt, she went on to hose news magazine show 20/20 for 25 years, before creating the first all-female daytime talk show, The View, which she co-hosted for 16 seasons. She’s now 88, and having broken every record imaginable in news, is finally retired.

[post_page_title]Barbara Eden – 87 years old[/post_page_title]

The 1960s was a magical decade, and it’s therefore a small wonder that not one but two magically themed sitcoms graced television screens.

The first was Bewitched, that got the nation clamoring for more supernatural laughs, so along came I Dream of Jeannie, with Barbara Eden in the titular role. Countless more film and television roles followed, but she couldn’t seem to shake that one iconic role. Oh, well, if you can’t beat them, join them – at 78, Eden again donned her Jeannie garb for charity at the 21st Vienna Life Ball. Her most latest credit was voiceover work for an animated show… about girl genies.
